The wind
that talks

the leaves
and asks them

shiver

I see it
day in
and night out,
rain
or
shine
No one at
the super
market
seems
much
interested
So
when
I sit
outside
on the porch
it helps
to be
patient
to
see
everything
Everything!
But
the window
sill
is the
favorite
spot
I
try
to
make
sure
not
to miss
a
thing
No
taping
this
live
show
No
remote
control
Cannot
change
the
channel
Have
compiled
voluminous
notes
that
will
eventually
go into a
several hundred
volume
history
chronicling
the
unique
goings
on
right there
every
day
outside
the
window
no
matter the season
I can
see
everything
at
some
point,
even
outer space
It is
fascinating,
fascinating
absolutely
